A worked example

The same idea with real numbers attached.

Someone born on the 25th adds 2 + 5 = 7, so the Birthday number is 7, shared with everyone born on the 7th and the 16th. Born on the 29th, 2 + 9 = 11, and this site stops there rather than continuing to 2, because 11 is a master number. The 31st gives 3 + 1 = 4, which puts it alongside the 4th and the 13th.

Birthday number: frequently asked

Scope. The Life Path uses the whole date. The Birthday number uses the day of the month and nothing else, which is why someone born on 25 December 1988 and someone born on 25 March 2001 share a Birthday number of 7 and have Life Paths with nothing in common.

On this site, yes. The 11th and the 22nd stay put, and the 29th becomes 11 and stops. Other calculators reduce those to 2 and 4.
