The policy
If a factual claim on this site is wrong, we fix the page and add a line to the log below saying what it used to say.
Reports are checked against the source before anything moves. For a lottery page that means the operator's published rules. For a tradition it means the sources that describe the practice. If the report turns out to be mistaken, we reply and say so, because that is also useful information. How a page gets researched and checked before publication is set out in the editorial policy.
Nothing is deleted to make a correction go away. The old claim stays in the log so anyone who read the wrong version can see what changed.

What gets treated as an error
A wrong number
Jackpot odds, a prize tier, an overall-odds figure, a worked example in the glossary. Each one is computed from a game's matrix, so a wrong figure usually means the matrix on file is wrong, and that error is inherited by every row of the odds table.
A stale game rule
A matrix change, a price rise, a new draw night, a game that closed. Lotteries change more often than most readers expect, so a game pagedescribing last year's format is wrong even though it was right when it shipped.
A misattributed tradition
A method credited to the wrong school, an origin story presented as documented when it is a later invention, or a cultural belief described in a way its practitioners would not recognise.
Copy that implies a promise
Any sentence that reads as though a number, a method or a ritual improves your chance of winning. It never does, and the odds of winning the lottery shows the arithmetic. This is the one error class that gets fixed the same day it is spotted.
The log
The log is empty. No reported factual error has been confirmed and corrected since it opened on 26 July 2026. That is a statement about the log, not a boast about the site: pages here carry thousands of computed figures and a lot of history, and some of it will turn out to be wrong. When it does, the entry appears here rather than being quietly overwritten.
Reporting one
Send the page address, the sentence or figure you think is wrong, and where the right version comes from. A link to an operator's rules page settles a lottery question immediately. For a tradition, naming the source you are working from is enough to start.
Everything goes to hello@vibenumbers.com. Corrections get a reply, including the ones we end up disagreeing with.
Corrections questions
Because nothing has needed logging since it opened on 26 July 2026. An empty log is not a claim that the site has never been wrong. It means no reported factual error has been confirmed and fixed in that window, and if one is, it will appear here with its date.
A correction changes a factual claim: an odds figure, a matrix, a draw day, a price, a date, the origin of a tradition, or an attribution. Rewriting a paragraph for clarity, fixing a typo or changing a heading is an edit, and edits are not logged.
Wrong numbers get priority, because a wrong odds figure is the worst kind of error this site can carry. Reports go to hello@vibenumbers.com and are checked against the source before anything changes. If a claim turns out to be right, we say so rather than quietly leaving it.
