Aries and Sagittarius, in brief

What the fire trine describes well is how easily two people understand each other, and what it says nothing about is whether either of them handles the tedious half of a shared life.
Because the whole system is built on the four elements, and a trine is what you get when two signs sit on the same one. Same element means the same tempo, the same appetite for risk and roughly the same idea of what a good evening involves, so the tradition reads the pairing as needing no translation.
Aries starts it and Sagittarius decides how far it goes, and neither one would describe that as leading.
