The 30th gives birthday number 3, since 3 + 0 = 3 and a zero adds nothing to a sum. Numerology reads it anyway, and here it reads as volume: the digit beside the zero comes through at full strength with no second influence to argue against. So the 30th arrives as the 3 qualities undiluted. Expression, timing, the ability to make a point land in the room it was aimed at. Nothing folded in, nothing softening it, and no route to interpret.
Four days reach 3. The 12th and the 21st each carry a real second digit, a 1 that colours the reading in one direction or the other depending on where it sits. The 30th has a zero instead, a placeholder rather than a digit with a meaning of its own, so it takes no colour at all. Teaching, presenting, broadcast, front-of-house, advertising and design copy, anything performed live. That is the list an amplified 3 gets, and older handbooks say entertainer and lecturer, both of which still make sense. Take it as one talent. The birthday number comes fourth of the four core numbers, behind the Life Path, the Expression and the Soul Urge, and expression on the scale of a working life belongs to the Expression number, calculated from a full name rather than from a day of the month. The tradition's own writers make that separation explicitly.
The 3 days get a light and mostly unflattering note on money. Three is not a commercial digit in this system, and the tables describe money as something talked about well and managed badly, a joke the handbooks have been repeating since the 1920s. The specific claim, such as it is, holds that a fluent person finds it easy to talk their way into work and difficult to talk about the fee once inside it. None of that has been tested against anything, and a birth date carries no information about earnings.
The shadow the tradition attaches
The named cost is the silence that gets filled. A person who needs no warm-up will speak into a pause somebody else was using to think, and the tables describe the 30th doing this without ever intending to take the floor. The zero makes the reading worse rather than better, since whatever the 3 does, it does at volume and for longer. What it looks like from outside is a group where one person's first reaction has become the starting point for every discussion, and nobody has mentioned it, because mentioning it would be awkward.

Not really, and the tradition is more modest than that. What it credits to 3 is timing and a willingness to speak first, which is a different thing from being amusing and considerably easier to get wrong in company.
